Where Can You Find a Deal in Seattle in Spring 2024? Find Opportunities With Condos

If you’re hoping to score a deal in Seattle right now, where are there opportunities?

We recommend you take a serious look at Seattle condos, including Amber’s latest condo listing in the Central District!

Here are a few things you need to know about condos right now:

  • While condos still represent a deal right now, as you can see in the graph, they are appreciating overall. As you can see on the graph, in 2019 condos took a dip, which is unsurprising considering we were in the midst of an election season.

Here are some of the current median condo prices in Seattle right now:

Median Price of Condos in Seattle

    • ALL condos =  $549,993
    • 1 Bedroom or studio = $415,000
    • 2 Bedrooms = $625,975
    • 3 Bedrooms = $890,000
    • 4+ Bedrooms = $1.35 million

  • This spring 2024, condos are a relatively good deal. One of the big reasons for this is the fact that many people just wanted to avoid communal living during the pandemic. However, as more companies get serious about requiring employees to come back to the office, people are moving back to the city. And as these folks snap up condos (because they are also figuring out condos represent a deal right now), there are going to be fewer opportunities to get a deal.

  • Condos are a fantastic way to begin your home ownership journey. (Keep in mind that your first home won’t be your forever home!) You can get into the real estate market at a lower price point so you can start building equity. Condos are still appreciating well (take a look at the graph again), and will likely continue to do so. Plus, our latest condo listing would make a great rental when you’re ready to move on. (And just a head’s up, there is a rental cap.)

  • If you want to take advantage of condo living but don’t necessarily love the density of neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, Downtown Seattle, or Belltown, check out this ideal condo for sale in the Central District. Plus, there aren’t a ton of condos in the Central District. This condo is right atop Broadcast Coffee (Amber’s fave coffee in the city), is literally right across the street to a park, and is blocks to bus lines, the streetcar, grocery shopping at Amazon Fresh, and several restaurants.

  • If you’re always on the go, condos offer an easy “lock it & leave it” lifestyle. With this condo, several public transit options make it possible to live car-free, but there’s also a reserved parking spot inside a gated parking garage, so you never have to worry about finding street parking.
